How to Achieve an LCBCC Soul Care Certificate

Level 1: Encourager

Phase 1: Complete the Foundations: Change That Sticks. The uniqueness of this robust course in Biblical counseling and change is that you receive 45 inspiring and instructive sessions, weekly help from a personal moderator coach, a live monthly practicum with our director. If you sign up for the Step Up Package you also gain four additional courses and become a member of our Biblical Counseling Network - all for only $25 a month. We believe combining inspiring lectures with group discussion and weekly interaction is key to effective online assimilation and learning. This course can be completed by the average learner in 8 months if you spend 2 hours a week, or 4 months if you spend 4 hours a week. You complete at your own pace.

Level 2: Coach

Phase 1: Complete the Foundations: Change That Sticks. The uniqueness of this robust course in Biblical counseling and change is that you receive 45 inspiring and instructive sessions, weekly help from a personal moderator coach, a live monthly practicum with our director. Phase 2: Complete 5 hours of case supervision and audit one of two courses: Systematic Theology: Transformed by Truth course or Practical Theology: Contemporary Issues Course. (Both courses are included in the Foundations, Step Up,  Counselor or Ministry Package.) To audit a course means you need not complete the course, only watch and take notes of the recorded lectures from the course.) During your 5 hours of supervision, you will submit up to 4 LCBCC case reports twice a month and your assigned counselor will mentor you in your cases by providing you personal direction and case-tested resources to improve your counseling and intensive discipleship outcomes. It is possible to complete this phase in as little as one month. When ready to begin this phase ensure you are subscribed to our Counselor Mentorship Package or Ministry Development Package.

Level 3: Lead Counselor

Phase 2: Complete 15 hours of case supervision and complete one of two courses: Systematic Theology: Transformed by Truth course or Practical Theology: Contemporary Issues Course. During your 15 hours of supervision, you will submit up to 4 LCBCC case reports twice a month and your assigned counselor will mentor you in your cases by providing you personal direction and case-tested resources to improve your counseling and intensive discipleship outcomes. It is possible to complete this phase in as little as two months. When ready to begin this phase ensure you are subscribed to our Counselor Mentorship Package or Ministry Development Package

How to Become ACBCC Certified

There are three phases you will need to complete for Certification with ACBC.

Phase 2:  Complete the ACBC Exam. Our A.C.B.C Exam Mentorship provides you with 18 online sessions of preparation and 6 months of guidance on every exam question that you submit to your mentor.  You will effectively and efficiently complete all of the 44 ACBC exam questions through this course designed by Dr. Pam Moore and taught by Dr. Ron Allchin and our director, Tim Bryant all for only $25 a month through our Foundations Subscription.

Phase 3: Complete 50 hours of case supervision. You submit up to 4 ACBC case reports twice a month with one of our ACBC Fellow Supervisors. We will mentor you in all your cases, providing you with personal direction and case-tested resources to improve your counseling and intensive discipleship outcomes. It is possible to complete this phase in as little as six months. When ready to begin this phase ensure you are subscribed to our Counselor Mentorship Package or Ministry Development Package
